Gasherbrum II, at 8,035 metres, is the world’s 13th-highest mountain and one of the classic 8,000-metre peaks of the Karakoram. Known for its remote setting, high-altitude snow and ice terrain, extreme weather, and demanding summit conditions, Gasherbrum II offers a serious challenge for experienced mountaineers.

Our Gasherbrum II Expedition is designed for climbers with strong high-altitude experience, excellent physical fitness, technical climbing ability, and the mental resilience required for prolonged exposure in an extreme mountain environment.

The expedition follows a progressive acclimatization strategy before moving through the mountain’s high camps toward the summit. Climbers must be prepared for extreme cold, strong winds, steep snow and ice sections, and the hazards associated with climbing above 8,000 metres. Experienced expedition leadership and high-altitude Sherpa support provide route assistance, camp management, logistical coordination, and guidance throughout the ascent.

The final summit push to 8,035 metres demands endurance, discipline, technical skill, and careful judgment based on weather, route conditions, acclimatization, and team readiness.

Gasherbrum II is an expedition for experienced mountaineers seeking the demanding and rewarding challenge of an 8,000-metre ascent in the heart of the Karakoram.
