Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The day is free to rest after your international flight. In the evening, a short briefing introduces the Yala Peak expedition, logistics, and equipment checks.

Day 02

Drive to Syabrubesi (1,503m) – 8–9 hrs

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang region. The journey passes through terraced hills, rivers, and rural villages. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi prepares you for the trekking portion of the expedition.

Day 03

Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m) – 6–7 hrs

The trail follows the Langtang Khola River, passing forests, waterfalls, and local villages. Arrive at Lama Hotel, a picturesque settlement surrounded by hills and alpine scenery. Overnight in teahouse accommodations.

Day 04

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – 6–7 hrs

The trail ascends gradually through forests and glacial streams. Arrive at Langtang Village, which was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. The village is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offers a glimpse of traditional Tamang culture.

Day 05

Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m) – 4–5 hrs

The trail climbs to Kyanjin Gompa, a high-altitude village famous for its monastery and cheese-making. Panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks make this a stunning stop. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa teahouse.

Day 06

Acclimatization Day in Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m)

A full acclimatization day allows your body to adjust to the high altitude. Optional short hikes to nearby viewpoints, glaciers, or Tserko Ri (5,000m) provide breathtaking scenery and preparation for the summit push.

Day 07

Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4,800m)

The trail becomes steeper and more alpine as you approach Yala Peak Base Camp. Set up tents or stay in teahouse accommodations if available. This is the last stop before the summit, allowing climbers to rest and acclimatize.

Day 08

Summit Yala Peak (5,732m) and Return to Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m)

An early morning summit attempt rewards climbers with panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Shishapangma, and distant Himalayan peaks. After the summit, descend carefully back to Kyanjin Gompa for overnight rest and celebration.

Day 09

Helicopter Flight from Kyanjin Gompa to Kathmandu (1,400m)

A scenic helicopter flight brings you back to Kathmandu, offering aerial views of the Langtang region, snow-capped peaks, and rivers. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival and enjoy leisure time in the city.

Day 10

Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight, concluding the Yala Peak Trek.
