Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The day is free to rest and recover from your flight. In the evening, a short briefing introduces the Pikey Peak Trek, logistics, and equipment checks.

Day 02

Sightseeing and Preparation in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This day is reserved for sightseeing and trek preparations. You may visit Kathmandu’s iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Trekking permits and necessary paperwork are finalized.

Day 03

Drive to Dhap (2,850m) and Trek to Japre (2,815m)

After an early breakfast, drive east from Kathmandu to Dhap, passing scenic hills, rivers, and rural villages. From Dhap, the trek begins through rhododendron and oak forests to reach Japre Village. Overnight stay in a teahouse with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 04

Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3,640m)

The trail ascends steadily through alpine meadows and traditional Sherpa villages. Arrive at Pikey Peak Base Camp, located near the summit ridge. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and other Himalayan giants. Overnight at the base camp.

Day 05

Trek to Lodging Village (2,536m) or Kerung (2,425m)

Begin the descent through lush forests and terraced fields toward Lodging Village or Kerung, passing small settlements and enjoying the local culture. Overnight stay in a teahouse or local lodge.

Day 06

Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,400m)

From the village, take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. The journey passes hills, farmland, and local villages, offering final glimpses of the region’s beauty. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu and rest.

Day 07

Final Departure

You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight, concluding the Pikey Peak Trek.
