Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, there will be a short briefing about the Langtang trek and necessary preparations.

Day 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This day is dedicated to cultural sightseeing and trek preparation. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Meanwhile, our team will ensure permits are finalized and conduct a final gear check. The evening is free for personal preparation.

Day 03

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,500m) – 7–8 Hours

After breakfast, you begin a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang Valley Trek. The drive follows winding mountain roads through Trishuli River valleys, rural villages, and terraced farmland. Although long, the journey offers beautiful views of hills and rivers. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 04

Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m) – 6 Hours

The trek begins by crossing the Bhote Koshi River and ascending through dense forests of oak, bamboo, and rhododendron. The trail gradually climbs alongside the Langtang River, passing small settlements and waterfalls. Wildlife such as langur monkeys and red pandas may be spotted along the way. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 05

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – 6–7 Hours

Today’s trek continues through thick forests before opening into alpine terrain. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more dramatic with snow-capped peaks appearing above the valley. You pass through Ghodatabela and gradually reach Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang settlement rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. Overnight in Langtang Village.

Day 06

Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) – 3 Hours

A relatively short and pleasant walk takes you further up the valley toward Kyanjin Gompa. The trail passes yak pastures, prayer flags, and glacial streams, with stunning views of Langtang Lirung. Upon arrival, you can explore the ancient monastery and visit the local yak cheese factory. The afternoon is free for rest and acclimatization.

Day 07

Hike to Tserko Ri (5,000m) and Return to Kyanjin Gompa – 7–8 Hours

An early morning start takes you on a challenging hike to the summit of Tserko Ri, the highest point of the trek. The climb is steep but rewarding, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and surrounding Himalayan peaks. After spending time at the summit, you descend back to Kyanjin Gompa for overnight stay.

Day 08

Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,380m) – 6–7 Hours

The descent begins as you retrace your steps down the Langtang Valley. Walking downhill allows you to enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace. You pass Langtang Village and Ghodatabela before reaching Lama Hotel. The lower altitude brings noticeable relief and comfort.

Day 09

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1,550m) – 6–7 Hours

Today’s trek follows forested trails and riverbanks back to Syabrubesi. The route descends gradually through lush vegetation and small villages. Upon arrival, you can relax and reflect on the completion of the Langtang Valley Trek.

Day 10

Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1,400m) – 8–9 Hours

After breakfast, you drive back to Kathmandu via the same scenic mountain route. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest, shopping, or enjoying Kathmandu’s restaurants.

Day 11

Free Day in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This leisure day allows time for additional sightseeing, souvenir shopping, optional spa treatments, or simply relaxing after the trek. It also serves as a buffer day in case of travel delays.

Day 12

Final Departure

You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international departure, concluding your Langtang Valley Trek.
