Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to rest and recover from your journey. A short welcome briefing will be held in the evening.

 

Day 02

Sightseeing and Trek Preparation in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This day is reserved for cultural sightseeing and trek preparation. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Meanwhile, our team will finalize trekking permits and conduct a final equipment check.

Day 03

Fly to Lukla (2,845m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early in the morning, you will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After meeting the trekking crew, the trek begins with a gentle walk along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. This short hike is ideal for acclimatization.

Day 04

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

The trail ascends gradually through forests and across suspension bridges before entering Sagarmatha National Park. A steady climb leads to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa trading hub of the Everest region. If weather permits, first views of Everest may be seen along the way.

Day 05

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

A full acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. You will take a side hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The afternoon is free for rest, hydration, and exploration of local markets and bakeries.

Day 06

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame (3,800m)

Leaving the main Everest trail, you follow the Bhote Koshi valley toward Thame. The route passes through traditional Sherpa villages and monasteries, offering a quieter trekking experience. Thame is known as the home village of several famous Everest climbers.

Day 07

Trek from Thame to Lumde (4,369m)

Today’s trek climbs gradually through remote alpine terrain. The trail passes yak pastures and high-altitude settlements as you approach Lumde, a small village situated below the Renjo La Pass. The afternoon is spent resting and preparing for higher elevation.

Day 08

Acclimatization Day in Lumde (4,369m)

This important rest day allows your body to adapt to the altitude before crossing the high pass. Short hikes to nearby ridges may be undertaken for acclimatization, while the remainder of the day is spent resting and hydrating.

Day 09

Cross Renjo La Pass (5,360m) and Trek to Gokyo (4,750m)

An early start is required for today’s challenging and rewarding crossing of Renjo La Pass. The ascent is steep but manageable, and from the top, you are rewarded with spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and the Gokyo Lakes. After crossing the pass, the trail descends past turquoise glacial lakes to the village of Gokyo.

Day 10

Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m)

An early morning hike takes you to the summit of Gokyo Ri, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, and the Ngozumpa Glacier. After descending, the remainder of the day is free to relax around the lakes.

Day 11

Trek from Gokyo to Dole (4,200m)

Leaving the Gokyo Valley, the trail descends along the western side of the Ngozumpa Glacier. You pass through high alpine terrain and small settlements before reaching Dole, surrounded by rhododendron and juniper forests.

Day 12

Trek from Dole to Monjo (2,835m)

Today’s trek continues downhill through Phortse Tenga and forested trails back into lower elevations. The warmer air and lush vegetation provide a pleasant contrast to the high-altitude landscape. You overnight in Monjo, near the Sagarmatha National Park entrance.

Day 13

Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,845m)

The final trekking day follows the Dudh Koshi River back to Lukla. In the evening, there is a farewell celebration with the trekking crew to mark the successful completion of the trek.

Day 14

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400m)

A morning flight returns you to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation, shopping, or optional cultural activities.

Day 15

Free Day in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This leisure day serves as a buffer in case of weather-related flight delays and allows time for sightseeing, souvenir shopping, or rest. A farewell dinner may be organized in the evening.

Day 16

Final Departure

You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international departure, concluding your Gokyo via Renjo La Pass Trek.
