Overview

The Everest Three Passes Trek is one of the most challenging and rewarding trekking adventures in Nepal. This trek crosses three high Himalayan passes — Kongma La (5,535m), Cho La (5,420m), and Renjo La (5,360m) — offering unmatched views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Ama Dablam.

This trek goes beyond the classic Everest Base Camp route and explores remote valleys, high glacial passes, turquoise lakes, and traditional Sherpa villages. It is ideal for experienced trekkers who are physically fit and looking for a true high-altitude Himalayan challenge.

19 Days • Itinerary Overview

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Meet our team and transfer to the hotel. Trek briefing and preparation.

Day 02

Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early morning flight to Lukla. Begin trek through Sherpa villages and pine forests to Phakding.

Day 03

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Follow the Dudh Koshi River, cross suspension bridges, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Steep climb to Namche.

Day 04

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Rest and acclimatization day. Short hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village for altitude adjustment.

Day 05

Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)

Trek with stunning mountain views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit Tengboche Monastery.

Day 06

Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)

Descend to the river and gradually climb to Dingboche, entering alpine terrain.

Day 07

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche (4,410m)

Rest day with optional hike to Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung Valley to aid acclimatization.

Day 08

Trek to Chhukung (4,730m)

Short trek to Chhukung village, preparing for the first high pass crossing.

Day 09

Cross Kongma La Pass (5,535m) & Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)

Challenging day crossing the highest of the three passes. Spectacular views of surrounding peaks and glaciers.

Day 10

Trek to Gorak Shep (5,164m) & Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

Trek along the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep. Afternoon hike to Everest Base Camp.

Day 11

Kala Patthar (5,545m) & Trek to Dzongla (4,830m)

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views. Descend and trek to Dzongla.

Day 12

Cross Cho La Pass (5,420m) & Trek to Thagnak (4,700m)

Cross Cho La Pass with glacier sections and steep trails. Descend to Thagnak village.

Day 13

Trek to Gokyo (4,790m)

Cross the Ngozumpa Glacier and arrive at the stunning Gokyo Lakes.

Day 14

Gokyo Ri (5,357m) Acclimatization Day

Early hike to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and the Gokyo Valley.

Day 15

Cross Renjo La Pass (5,360m) & Trek to Marlung (4,210m)

Cross the final pass with one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. Long descent to Marlung.

Day 16

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Descend through remote villages and forested trails back to Namche Bazaar.

Day 17

Trek to Lukla (2,860m)

Final trekking day back to Lukla. Celebrate the successful completion of the trek.

Day 18

Fly Back to Kathmandu (1,400m)

Morning flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and rest.

Day 19

Final Departure

Today keep your passport and airline ticket handy our office staff will transfer you to the International airport for your flight back home or to the respective destination from this amazing country Nepal.
