Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. The day is free to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, a short briefing introduces the trek and logistics.

 

Day 02

Sightseeing and Trek Preparation in Kathmandu (1,400m)

This day is reserved for sightseeing and expedition preparations. You may visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Meanwhile, trekking permits are finalized, and equipment is checked.

Day 03

Fly to Lukla (2,845m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

An early morning scenic flight takes you from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, the trek begins with a gentle walk along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding, providing your first taste of the Himalayan trail.

 

Day 04

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

The trail gradually ascends through forests, suspension bridges, and small villages before entering Sagarmatha National Park. Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa trading hub, offers stunning mountain vistas and the first views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and other Himalayan peaks.

Day 05

Rest and Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

A full acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. You may hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The afternoon is free to explore local markets, cafes, and cultural sites.

Day 06

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Debuche (3,770m)

The trail continues through rhododendron forests and alpine terrain. You cross several streams and small villages en route. Debuche, a quiet settlement below Pangboche, provides an ideal stop for overnight rest and acclimatization.

Day 07

Trek from Debuche to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,600m)

Today’s trek ascends through high alpine valleys, past small monasteries, and yak grazing areas. Ama Dablam Base Camp is situated below the towering peak, offering dramatic views of the mountain and surrounding glaciers. Overnight in tents or teahouses near the base camp.

Day 08

Trek to Pangboche and Phortse Village (3,840m)

After enjoying the views at Ama Dablam Base Camp, you descend toward Pangboche, visiting the famous Pangboche Monastery along the way. After lunch, continue trekking to Phortse Village, a traditional Sherpa settlement with spectacular mountain vistas.

Day 09

Trek from Phortse via Mong La to Monja (2,835m)

The descent continues through Mong La (3,950m), offering panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and valleys. The trail passes through lush forests and riverside villages before reaching Monja, a picturesque village in the lower valley.

Day 10

Trek from Monja to Lukla (2,845m)

The final trekking day retraces the route to Lukla, passing suspension bridges, forests, and small villages. Upon arrival, enjoy a farewell dinner with the trekking team and overnight in Lukla.

Day 11

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,400m)

A scenic morning flight returns you to Kathmandu. After hotel transfer, the remainder of the day is free to relax, shop, or explore the city.

Day 12

Free Day in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Leisure day to rest, enjoy sightseeing, or do last-minute shopping. Optional cultural activities or a farewell dinner can be arranged.

Day 13

Final Departure

You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international departure, concluding the Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek.
